IS THE GOAL SIMPLY NOT TO LOSE THE BALL ?

  • Bonus Points and Multipliers: Skillful play can result in bonus points and multipliers. These can significantly increase a player's score. For example, hitting a certain target multiple times in a row may increase the point value of each subsequent hit.
     

  • Skillful Play: Skilled players not only keep the ball in play but also actively control its path and direction. The use of flippers, nudging the machine, and aiming for specific targets are all part of skillful play.
     

  • Avoid Tilt: Players need to be mindful of not tilting the machine excessively. Tilt mechanisms are in place to prevent players from cheating by shaking the machine too aggressively. If you tilt the machine, you'll lose the current ball.
     

In essence, pinball is a game of both offense and defense, players need to strike a balance between keeping the ball in play and strategically aiming for high-scoring opportunities. The most skilled pinball players can achieve impressive scores through a combination of precise shots, timing, and knowledge of the game's rules and objectives.
